They don't serve food, but they do serve aesthetics. We came for a few cocktails and to relax. This place is very nice and classy. My husband did say he didn't think the staff was very friendly and I agree. There were minimal smiles and I don't think the bartender even created us. But overall, the drinks were amazing, pricey, but delicious. Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I want to start by saying that I have been to Watts & Ward on multiple occasions and have always enjoyed myself, which is why this experience was particularly disappointing. During my most recent visit, I sat down on one of the sofas and placed my hand on the seat. I immediately felt a sharp pain and, when I pulled my hand away, I saw that a piece of glass was sticking out of my hand. I immediately notified a staff member and showed them my hand. I was given Neosporin and a Band-Aid, and staff checked the sofa. There were additional small pieces of glass on the seat, which they cleaned and swept up. Afterward, I tried to continue enjoying my evening, but I wanted to speak with someone about what had happened and what could be done to address the situation. I approached the bartender, but unfortunately, I felt that my concerns were brushed off. He did not offer to get a manager or otherwise seem concerned about the fact that I had been injured by glass while sitting on the establishment’s furniture. My friend ultimately had to find the manager herself and explain what had happened. The manager did come speak with me and did remove one of my drinks and two of my friend’s drinks from the bill, which I appreciated. However, I left feeling that there could have been much more concern, accountability, and hospitality shown given the circumstances. I understand that accidents can happen, but being injured by a piece of glass while simply sitting on a sofa in an establishment is a serious safety issue. What was most disappointing to me was not necessarily that the incident happened, but how I felt it was handled afterward. I have enjoyed Watts & Ward in the past and hope they take this feedback seriously, particularly when it comes to inspecting seating areas and making sure guests who are injured receive an appropriate level of care and attention.
