One of the worst experiences I ever had. Food was bad and took two hours. We booked a tour with „John“, this person is a mess. Tour started 3h later than he told us to be there, the equipment was nonexistent and the tour itself was probably his first since he hasn‘t the farest idea what he was doing. At the end we ended up with no fuel in the middel of the bay in the dark. Avoid this place and avoid „John“ he‘s all you don‘t want in your holiday. Go to Zuby, she‘s at Swaheli lokal restaurant just a few steps down the beach and a really nice person. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

After reading all the good reviews, we tried this place, but were unfortunately disappointed.. Not sure if there has been a change of owner, but it seemed to be run now by John, a local. The full menu was in USD prices and expensive for a local place (20USD for a seafood curry). We discussed this with John and negotiated a more fair price in line with other local places in Tanzania. We sat at a table at the beach, which was nice. We had to wait for 1 hour to get our food. There was miscommunication with our order, so we ended up getting something different. Both the octopus and calamari were very chewy and the rice had a strange flavour. So not worth it if you want to have a change from the diner that is offered at your accommodation. Would recommend it for a cold beer on the beach! Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
