A really lovely cafe, super friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a huge variety of games to choose from. Treats are super yummy, and the coffee is delicious. We will definitely be back again Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely coffee shop with great strong coffee, homemade biscuits, and a relaxed atmosphere. I really like that you can book a table and enjoy board or card games with friend and kids. A cosy, fun place to spend time. Price per person: £10–20

Having recently moved to the area, Wayfarer's Rest has been absolutely transformative for us as a way to find fun things to do and meet lots of lovely local people. I very highly recommend blood on the clocktower on Saturdays and board game club on Thursdays. Both are full of very welcoming folks eager to show newbies the ropes! There are lots of great vegan and gluten free options, a fantastic selection of games, wonderful friendly staff and the cosiest vibes and decor of any board game place I've been to. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect addition to the high street. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
