Wayra Café, located on Av. Francisco de Orellana in Tena, offers a varied dining experience with its mix of Ecuadorian, French, Italian, Mexican, and South American cuisines. The establishment features both takeaway and dine-in options with table service, and has amenities like a toilet. Although customer reviews are not recent, patrons historically appreciated its river view and location near two bridges, suggesting it's nice to visit during an evening stroll along the Malecón.
The café is open in the late afternoon and stays open until late at night, except on Mondays and Wednesdays when it closes by 11:00 PM. Visitors can enjoy a casual and cozy atmosphere, enhanced by offerings such as great coffee and fresh fruit juices. Alcoholic beverages, including beer, are also available, catering to different preferences. While the location appears to be popular among solo diners and groups, it's considered conducive for families with kids and tourists alike.
Despite some positives, it’s important to note that there hasn't been any recent feedback or updated information provided by the owner or visitors in the past six years. Interested guests might consider verifying current conditions, menu, and offerings directly with the café.
A very nice place with a view on the river Tena and it's 2 nearby bridges. Great fresh fruit juices are made and served. Well worth a visit during an evening walk on the Malecón.
