After you have seen Newtown, visit this bar. A lot of visitors order good beer. You can listen to live music in the evening. It is remarkable that the service is regarded as terrific. Google gives it 4.1 so you can choose Waywards Ballroom Upstairs at The Bank to spend a good time here.

The toilets - On Saturday I went to a gig. Was a fun gig and staff were friendly. It was held upstairs. However, At the venue there was only two options of toilets the Male ones, then the gender neutral one. At first I thought “oh awesome, how inclusive!”. Then I walked in at it’s a cis man (not trans) standing in line. I go to use the toilet after him and there’s some liquid on the seat (wee or water I have no idea) so I wasn’t going to use that one Gross! I don’t think they should be coming into a space of women and being unsanitary. The Women’s bathrooms is a SAFE SPACE for all women and little girls. Plus, where was the choice of just a female bathroom?! The men got theirs. The whole thing left me uncomfortable. If a business really wants a gender neutral one, maybe get a third bathroom for it. That way we ALL have a comfortable space. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Glitch was hands down the most fun night out I’ve had since before COVID lockdown. The first DJ absolutely nailed it, playing all the best hits from the last 30 years with a healthy dose of Charli XCX (loved that!). Unfortunately, the second DJ killed the vibe pretty quickly by over-mixing and playing super chill tracks that downed the atmosphere. The only reason we left was because the vibe dropped so much. We would have stayed all night! Drinks are definitely on the pricey side ($13.20 for a house spirit is very steep). The bartenders and security were all so lovely, especially the short brunette girl behind the bar. Despite the hiccup, I’ll definitely be back. Please don’t cancel this night! It’s easily one of the best club nights in the whole city! Price per person: $60–80 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
