A Glutton For Punishment, A Family get together, a short time wait for a table. the entry was crowded with persons waiting to pay. We followed the hostess through the "gifts" area and a lady ahead of us almost fell over merchandise displayed on the floor, an accident waiting to happen.The waitress was cordial but not friendly, no smiles. She brought our beverages and took our food order which came in about thirty five minutes, the food average, nothing to get excited about. A breakfast place, food pricey, no menu for the older generation.Three persons in our group were seniors and did not receive a discount. The ambience not inviting, no class, every thing dark and why black? Makes one feel like being in a dungeon. Loud and noisy. There is a north window (no sun). The outside covered with an advertisement gimmick so no one can see in. The inside , if you can find it, piled high with merchandise so you can not see out. With my past dining experiences, from first class elite restaurants ,servers in tuxedos to indegenous road side shacks, three countries involved, I expected something better than what is delivered by this Angola establishment.

First time here. Inside tables were all full so we opted for outdoor seating. Friendly, fast and attentive service. The ladies were all efficient and cheerful. I had the corned beef hash, while my friend had the breakfast bowl. Both were excellent! I'll be checking this place out again for other comfort food gems.

Nice addition to Angola. The food is always good here and the staff is very friendly. The service is excellent. We Hop has a very broad menu of comfort foods, including great burgers, breaded tenderloin, all the breakfasts, but especially the breakfast burrito.
