Nice resort, we good the room on ground level but should recommend to get higher, was a lot of mosquito outside our room. We had a room with extra bed, and thats was working good. Otherwise all good and 4 on almost all Service: 4

Stayed in a superior room. Yeah, it’s a bit scruffy around the edges, but it’s clean and the air con works well. Bath/shower combo is outdated but it does the job. Breakfast buffet was adequate - I’d seen someone refer to it as ‘the worst breakfast on Koh Samui’ and that’s probably accurate. Grounds were lovely and well kept, pool area great and beach fantastic, no mozzie issues. Although the pool water was hot. Assumed this was par for the course - we ARE in Thailand - however we visited friends in resort in Chaweng, and the pool water there was cool - so perhaps here it’s due to the black pool tiles. Staff were all lovely to us (perhaps the people complaining about the staff were rude to them first? Just saying.) Only real issues was that the bed is firm - however, that’s personal preference, and there was a hairline crack in the toilet seat that pinched our bums a couple of times. On the whole a perfectly good 3 star resort that isn’t pretending to be something it’s not, and I feel has received some pretty unfair reviews here. Having said that, after seeing the standard of another resort I think this one is overpriced for the state of it. For about 25% more $$ outlay you could get a resort that’s 75% better. We probably will go elsewhere next time. Service: 5

We had a fantastic time at the weekender resort. The people were amazing, from the cleaners through to the management. (Special shout out to my main driver man Lik, what an awesome guy ) The superior room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. I only gave the rooms 4 stars as they were slightly outdated and could do with a bit of a paint/ upgrade but as we were on holiday and did not want to spend our time sitting in the room this was not something that bothered us. Fantastic location, right in the heart of Lamai, great pool, wonderful beachfront but our room was far enough away from the Main Street so we had peace, quiet and tranquility at all times during our stay. We really loved our time at the weekender resort, we will miss it and everyone that works there every day until we can return. Thank you Weekender resort!!! Service: 5
