I have eaten at the Weinhard Cafe numerous times and have thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes I have tried, as well as the ambience there. Recently, I tried their Fish n' Chips. I have to say that I don't recall ever having better; the fish was large, flaky, tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly! No dry, heavily breaded fish here. Just amazing! The fries are very good too - flavorful- but I like them a little crispier. It also came with a split pea soup which was very tasty. Very generous portions. Very reasonable price. Today I ordered "to go" and as you can see, portions are very generous and the don't scrimp on the vinegar. If you love fish and chips, and you are traveling through Dayton, WA, you will love Weinhard Cafe. Open Wednesday- Saturday. Just yum! Service: Take out Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30
