Our evening with friends in the Weinstall restaurant started very promisingly in a fantastic atmosphere and ended in a complete culinary disaster. Although only 4 tables were occupied, the drinks were only served after 20 minutes and we started with lamb's lettuce - with little to no dressing. This was followed by pink braised duck which lacked tenderness and was almost inedible due to an extremely salty dark gravy. After the failed main course, we were looking forward to a delicious crème brûlée, which unfortunately turned out to be brown gingerbread cream with a caramel crust. The waiter's reaction: “What else would that be?...). None of this seemed to have any relevance to the operation. The only response was not to charge for 2 desserts. Here too, the shortage of skilled workers appears to be a problem. Only the ambience and the Casteller red wine received 5* from us. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
