Clients don't highly appreciate coffee at this cafe. From the guests' point of view, the staff is unpleasant here. Disappointing service is something that visitors don't like at Welcome Break. According to most visitors' point of view, food isn't worth the appalling prices here. Unfortunately, Facebook users who have visited this place rate it below average.

Not a very nice place to stop, I'm a truck driver an work away from home Monday to Friday so I'm very familiar with welcome break services. I have to admit this was by far the worst. I had stopped at 4 other welcome break services to find the truck parking bays all full so I was really pleased to drive into this service station and see it was virtually empty. Please bare in mind this was last night 01/12/16 just gone 19.00, after a long day driving battling the traffic, weather conditions I was looking forward to a hot shower and some hot food. I proceeded to pay the £24.00 to park my truck for the night and off I went for the hot shower I longed for all day, well how disappointed was I, the shower room was so cold (prob warmer outside) the water temperature was freezing unbearable to be honest. I then went to order my hot meal from harry Ramsden, I was made to wait 40 minutes for sausage egg chips an beans by this point I already had enough, considering how long I was made to wait for my meal you can imagine my disbelief when it turns up and the sausages are over cooked the chips burnt and a white bread roll hard enough to break ya teeth. I then found a member of staff who I relayed my issues to, what a gentlemen he was, the guy brought me a cup of tea from his own pocket, he then told me the heating is only allowed on at certain times, he told me there's no point informing the manager because they don't care nothing will ever get done, what he told me next shocked me beyond belief, this very kind considerate and very apologetic member of staff told me the manager doesn't care because we're stupid enough to keep spending money there which keeps them in a job. Apologies it's long winded but I certainly won't recommend this services to my truck driving friends an I will do my upmost to make sure I never have to stay here again.
