My original review was 5* for my 2 previous visits to this place (once during lockdown and once for a party) Yesterday, Christmas Eve, i joined my siblings on a pub crawl, we went to the welcome inn about an hour before they closed. I tried to order a shandy at the bar, the bald guy serving wouldn’t serve me . When I pointed out that other people are being served, he replied saying they had been there for ages and i had just arrived. I would’ve accepted this, if 3+ members of the same group I arrived with, didn’t get served (including my brother and sister). I even asked if I could get a soft drink, he still said no. I’m not sure if he just had a problem with me, but I couldn’t think why, as I’m not really from the area and I wasn’t drunk (having consumed 2 shandys and 2 cans of coke in the previous 4 hours) Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
