Great place with great vibe. We went there for late lunch so it wasn’t very busy at that time. Decoration was amazing. With a touch of Burmese culture, art and French chandeliers. This is the kind of decoration which grasps the rich culture and heritage of Burma.Food was exceptional. True to burmese taste. Food presentation was very unique and cultural. We kept getting multiple complimentary dishes. Pone ye gyi especially was unlike others I have tried. 10/10 from me. Would definitely recommend this to others and will definitely come again.

They still need to refine their food , owners should go and eat standard restaurant to get an idea. Still ok but if a bit more improvement will be there , you will be one of the top restaurant in Bagan.

Went to 'welcome' after reading the good reviews and it is right next to our hotel. We were the only people in there for lunch, so the service was great! We got complimentary poppadoms and dip also lentil and onion soup. We ordered two types of curry, two salads and some rice. Everything was delicious, especially the salads. We then received a cooked banana with honey and a taster tray of sweets. A truly great experience and we left absolutely stuffed and satisfied. Very good prices too. All that and a beer for under 30 aud.
