All 3 of us totally loved our food, it was fresh, very hot, not greasey(as a lot of places don't know how to cook battered haddock!!!!) Clean bright restaurant with very good friendly staff. Parking outside. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return next time we are in the area. Very well done guys. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Quite possibly the best fish and chips i have had in many years. The haddock was amazing and the batter was just the best. The young ladies serving were lovely and the young man doing the frying was doing an excellent job Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Cod and Chips

Haven't been to Welcome Stranger for along time. So glad we did the fish n chips was definitely worth stopping. Gemma our server was friendly and very welcoming. She gave us time to look at the menu.
