Our 1st trip to Riga, what a beautiful country. Hotel is only about 15 minutes ride from airport. Very central location, decent food, Galleria shopping centre across so lot to do around. Hotel is basic but not very equipped for disabled. When you enter the room make sure not to fall as 2 steps, we hadn't put lights on and nearly fell as wasn't expecting as you see in photos. Very clean, provide slippers and gown and 1st time had chocolate. But strange that 2 separate thin duvets on double bed. Nice temperature throughout even though snow outside but didn't feel cold. Underfloor heating in bathroom but only bath tub so had issues as disabled but otherwise everything there. Breakfast is basic nothing special. Service: 3

Great place for exploring Riga, markets within walking distance. Cheap travel on trams and buses. I went in January so there was snow, I had no problem walking around as they kept the pavements clear.
