I ordered the Dave’s Double expecting a juicy, satisfying burger. Instead, I got two dry hockey pucks pretending to be beef, topped with wilted lettuce, a sad tomato slice, and cheese that looked like it gave up halfway through melting. The bun was somehow stale and soggy at the same time. Every bite made me question my life choices. I’ve had gas station sandwiches with more flavor. Even the pickles seemed disappointed to be there. For the price, I expected a burger—not a culinary punishment. If this is what “fresh, never frozen” tastes like, maybe freezing would’ve helped. I wouldn’t order this again even if it were free.
