The Wengel is very well known in the region, a classic Franconian country inn with a good atmosphere, and most importantly, the food is absolutely top, always, and ... honest, fair prices. The service is familiar, very attentive, pays attention to the guests, remembers every table, and doesn't forget anything. We live locally and also make reservations for family celebrations. At the last birthday party there were also 3 vegans at the table, to be honest, I was a bit worried, but the kitchen conjured up a menu just for the three of them, the finest! The vegans were beaming like cockchafers. I hereby recommend the Gasthof Wengel, without any ifs or buts! If you appreciate good Franconian cuisine and don't feel like adventure, this is the place for you. However, you should definitely make a reservation in advance for lunch on the weekend.
