Beautiful summer evening on the patio and great location in Portland. The food was absolutely up to par but unfortunately the service was below our expectations. For our group of 7, it took over 20 minutes after ordering our cocktails for them to arrive, we ordered appetizers for the table, and they never arrived. 15 minutes after ordering our entrees, we were informed that one of the dishes was completely out - we were here on a Friday at 7:30 PM - and two members of our party needed to re order. Mt cutlery was taken between course one and two and I asked for new cutlery when the entree arrived, but it was never brought to us and I had to share a fork with my date. Just overall unfortunate - and didn’t exactly feel great about getting the bill and seeing an auto 20% gratuity added with room for additional at our discretion. Our server apologized about the starter and said she took that item off the bill. They seemed understaffed, and I understand that can be challenging for a restaurant, but we also had an expectation of a higher end experience. This was such a fun and cute place, with delicious food/drinks. I went there for brunch during espresso martini month. I tried both their regular and monthly special martini. Both were delicious!! Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals! I got the eggs Benedict and it was yummy! I wish it had a different side though, I’m sure you could substitute it with potato’s or something. Where we sat there was lots of space. Our server seemed busy, it was a Sunday brunch haha. But was super nice! My friend got there early to get our name on the waitlist. I can’t wait to go back!
