Dropped into the Westbury Tavern for a bite tonight and were met with double the warmth—both from the cozy atmosphere and the wonderful staff. A friendly young man greeted us at the bar, expertly whipping up our drinks with impressive speed (always a win in our book). The chef went above and beyond—my friend fancied a burger with some extra cheese, and instead of just guessing, he came out personally to ask which cheese she preferred. Such a small gesture, but it’s rare, and it spoke volumes about his dedication to making meals just right. And then there was the lovely waitress, an absolute gem. She brought our food with a smile, checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, and even complimented my hair (a guaranteed way to win me over!). This place is a true hidden treasure. Can’t wait to return in the summer and soak up the sun in their beer garden. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food and drinks were reasonably priced but 3 of our meals came missing ingredients and the food itself was average.
