Nestled in the heart of Everton Park, Western is a low-profile dining spot that isn't widely featured in major restaurant directories, with just a minimal presence on Google. Despite this, it holds a charm for those who venture in, offering a casual atmosphere perfect for solo diners or groups. Families with kids will find it suitable as well, given its kid-friendly vibe. The offerings include satisfying quick bites and coffee, which make it an ideal choice for a laid-back meal.
Visitor feedback paints a mixed picture, with some highlighting an "old school taste" reminiscent of childhood, suggesting it could be considered a hidden gem with generous portions. On the flip side, service experiences differ markedly, leaving a varied impression ranging from polite interaction to moments of less welcoming service. Unfortunately, more up-to-date details about operating hours and owner-centric updates are unavailable, so potential patrons should come prepared for a degree of uncertainty. Nevertheless, Western maintains a toe-hold in local lore, partly due to its unique takeout offerings.

old school hawker western. so yummy. their chicken chop is a huge portion and has a lot of flavour! the sauce is so rich and tastyyyyy the chicken is juicy and yummyyy. for $8 would def buy again. comes with a wad of coleslaw, beans, (soggy) fries, and a thick garlic bread which is more on the soft and fluffy side.
