A typically big , open plan Wetherspoons. No problems getting seated and a good choice of beers and spirits. I liked all the HG Wells related paraphernalia, especially the invisible man sculpture - which ironically was very visible ! The barman who served me was very knowledgeable on what was on offer . I had a change from my usual dull choice of largers and opted for a few different beverages on his recommendation. I wasn't disappointed . The stout was particularly good. Yes, I would return if I'm in that neck of the woods again. Sadly, the rest of the town centre has fallen into neglect from what I saw. Price per person: £20–30 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
