THE MOST HONEST WHATABURGER REVIEW YOU’LL EVER READ We finally tried the new Whataburger in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and this was our first time ever eating at a Whataburger. I’ll start with the positives. For a brand new location, they were moving pretty fast. We ordered food for six people and had everything in about six or seven minutes, which honestly wasn’t bad at all. The building was clean, the employees seemed attentive, and everyone we dealt with acted like they were happy we were there. That part definitely stood out, especially with it being a new restaurant and probably staying busy. The fries were really good too. Out of everything we ordered, the fries were probably the best part of the meal. Hot, fresh, and exactly what you want from a fast food burger place. Now for the burger. It wasn’t bad by any means, but I also didn’t walk away understanding all the hype around Whataburger. The burger was big, and you definitely get your money’s worth when it comes to portion size, but flavor wise, it just didn’t really separate itself from other burger places. To be completely honest, I feel like Burger King has more flavor in the meat, and places like Culver’s or Steak ‘n Shake give you more of that memorable burger experience. The food was good. The service was good. The restaurant was clean. But if I’m going to a burger joint, I’m really hoping the burger is what blows me away, and that just didn’t happen here. We walked out of Whataburger saying our favorite thing was the french fries, and that kind of says it all. If you’re looking for good fries, a clean place to eat, quick service, and big portions, this new Whataburger in Pigeon Forge is worth checking out. But if you’re expecting some life changing burger because of all the hype, you might leave wondering the same thing we did. What exactly is all the hype about? Got the famed honey chicken biscuit. Wasn't impressed with the taste size quality of the sandwich or the barely there hashbrown sticks that you get 4 of. I was looking forward to trying their burgers but not so much anymore. McDonald's is still the king of cheap fast breakfast. And as for burgers you all need a Culvers down here. They are made fresh bigger and better priced too Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
