My 95 year old father's favorite restaurant. Delicious prime rib with all the sides and dessert included in the price. A Whately landmark for decades. Excellent! Service: 5

First, I would like to say that the Whately Inn is still my favorite restaurant. The meals have always been fantastic. From the fresh fruit cocktail and rolls, all the way to the delicious chocolate fudge pie and coffee you can't beat the Whately Inn. That being said, yesterday my girlfriend and I visited for Valentines day. We both ordered the Prime Rib. My Prime Rib had a large bone type of structure in it that significantly reduced the amount of meat in the meal. It is the first time that I have been disappointed in my entree. I will consider this a one off and continue to go to the Whately Inn on occasion. Rick Hayden

First, I want to say thank you for being loyal customers and I'm sorry you had an issue but every other cut of prime rib does come with a bone. You try to cut them a little bit bigger because of the bone. But you can always request no bone if you would like. Again, thank you so much. Have a great day!.
