The truth is that you will really enjoy nicely cooked catfish, chicken and bean rice. Get your meal started with delicious juice. The terrific staff at this restaurant can demonstrate how much they like their visitors. The spectacular service is something these restaurateurs care about. Where Ya From provides you with a great choice of dishes for good prices. But this place has been rated below average by Google.

DO NOT USE FOR CATERING YOU WILL GET SCAMMED! I was referred to this place because a family member previously used them and everyone was pleased. However when I decided to use them it was the total opposite for me! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! I paid over $400 for Fish, Wings, Mac n Cheese, Candy Yams, Greens, Cornbread and a Peach Cobbler. The fish was hard, the Mac wasn’t any cheese hardly and noodles were swollen, the yams were not (sweet candied) and some were still hard and the pan was not full. Same with the greens, not tender and pan not full. The Peach Cobbler was uncooked and pan not full at all! I had guest to feed and this was unacceptable! I was trying to support a black business and was scammed basically. Tried making contact other than through FB messenger but just given the run around for days. I tried to allow them to fix the issue and they never replied back and have been closed everyday that I’ve reached out since. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND A CENT AT THIS PLACE! Where Ya From is an amazing soul food spot. The food is flavorful, comforting, and tastes homemade with real love and tradition. these reviews are not matching what I ordered i went twice to make sure it was good ! And so far this was one of the best soulfood spots I have gotten in saint louis. The Mac was a 9/10 the greens the first time we're a 100/10 The second time 8/10 . The chicken 10/10 both times , Bananapudding 8/10 , coolaid 7.5/10 . Majority of saint louis food places do not sell fresh food i am always ending up with food poisoning stomach hurting if I eat out ! But not this place ! Now it is a tad bit pricey maybe the meals can come with 2 sides and drink and id be able to support more often but besides tht it was really good Everything!
