I appreciated getting a good wine at easy in and out location. I returned for a late lunch on a Tuesday. Very chill atmosphere, with comfortable seating choices inside and out. I enjoyed the sweet Merian Hive Blackberry Mead. The lamb Somosa was huge with a comforting flacky crust. I want to come back for live music. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Whip In has been a locally owned, Austin staple since the 1980s. This week I visited for dinner for the first time in many years and can confirm that this place is still an excellent option for high quality Indian food. My chicken tikka masala was perfect, no weird bits in the chicken and the chili paneer was super crispy and flavorful. This is the best garlic naan bread I’ve ever had.
