Just got back from having a meal at the Whitchaff Inn. It was my birthday but I’d taken my mum for lunch as her birthday gift. I have to say I am utterly disappointed. Mums burger was raw so we sent it back to the kitchen, sadly the burger then went rubbery. Mum took it home for the dogs. I ordered the Chicken Katsu wrap which I’d had a couple of times before but this time it fell short of the mark as it was only half filled. We complained. Mum was offered a free drink as compensation but she declined as she already had a full drink. I was told to ask for more filling next time. On a positive note, the staff were lovely. Sadly we won’t be returning for a long time which is a shame as it’s local. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2
