Drink the delicious stout offered here. In accordance with the guests' opinions, the staff can be competent. Fast service is a strong point that plays a great role for the success of this bar. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are adequate. Enjoy the calm atmosphere here. But The White Lion hasn't got a high rating from Google users.

Went in for a drink after a hike, we were the only people in the entire pub. Looked at the hike data on our phones and were politely told we couldn't use them but we could stand in the doorway if we wanted. Needless to say we drank up and left, didn't have a second drink. No wonder there was nobody in. Won't be returning and wouldn't recommend. Price per person: £1–10

Recently reopened under new management. Cosy and welcoming and the technology ban means that people actually talk to each other. When we went it was cash only, although they hope to get the card machine up and running soon. I understand they would like to start serving food soon too. Dogs and children welcome in the garden. Nice to see the pub open again and hope it is supported. (Cards now accepted.) Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
