My husband & I decided to try Whitey's BBQ for dinner one Wednesday evening. When first walking in to the restaurant I was a little uneasy because of the atmosphere. Many of the tables were dirty & all the booth seats were torn up and covered with duct tape. We proceeded to go to the counter in the back to order and the young lady cashier was sitting on a stool on her cell phone & didn't acknowledge us. After waiting 3 to 4 minutes we had to get her attention to wait on us. My husband ordered the 3 meat entree only to be told that they were out of rib tips and brisket (2 of his 3 choices). So he settled for bbq chicken & I ordered pulled pork. The food came out relatively quickly but each of our meats were in little 1 cup size styrofoam bowls. Both of the meats were moist and decent enough tasting, but the portion size was extremely small for the price. We didn't order any sides because typically at BBQ restaurants they give you so much meat that you can't eat anything else. Not here. Needless to say we definitely were not full when we left and were very disappointed in Whitey's.
