You can visit this bar if you happen to be near St. Michael at the Northgate. The British cuisine attracts guests who are in search of a new experience. Wig & Pen can be recommended for nicely cooked chicken pies, medium steaks and philly cheesesteaks. Do not go away without degusting good yorkshire pudding, fudge cakes and fudge. Most likely, you'll return to this place later to try delicious lager, wine or cask ale. Great coffee is served - try and enjoy.
The warm atmosphere of this spot makes visitors feel relaxed and have a good time. The competent staff at this bar can show how much they like their clients. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are average. You will enjoy the cute decor. Wig & Pen has received Google 4.1 according to the guests' opinions.

Stopped here for a meal for 2 fish and chips, nice size of fish but suspect the fish was cooked twice because it was very brown not golden has it should be Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Wonderful experience! We tried all of the appetizers and everything was delicious and very well priced! Alex was outstanding! Great service! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went here on a Saturday night as most of the bars were too full for a lower key night out. I’ve never been to the Wig & Pen before and was pleasantly surprised. The bar is full of 25+ adults (although this isn’t a requirement), unlike the spoons and O’Neill’s nearby which is usually filled to the brim with freshly turned 18 year olds with no manners. The bar staff were friendly and polite and very very quick to run drinks while ordering on the app. Overall a pleasant experience and a place that I would return to. A few downsides the music is very very loud and you can wait quite a while at the bar for a drink. I believe our male friends waited at least 15 minutes for a drink at the bar and through the app it was just over 2 minutes (we timed this as we thought it was funny). It closes quite early compared to the rest of town (1am). Generally a brilliant place if you’re looking for a decent night out not surrounded by under 20’s!
