If you’re looking for a no-frills, hometown breakfast, Wild Bill’s is absolutely worth the stop. The portions were generous, the bacon was cooked just right, the eggs and hashbrowns were excellent, and the coffee kept coming. The prices are hard to beat these days, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for from a small-town Nebraska café—friendly people, welcoming service, and a place where you can tell the locals gather every morning. It’s not trying to be trendy, just good, honest food served with a smile. Whether you’re passing through Rulo or live nearby, Wild Bill’s is one of those hidden gems that’s worth pulling off the highway for. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in southeast Nebraska.
