I grew up at 207 Lower Wortley Road (1947-1958). William IV was a Bentley's. Yorkshire Bitter pub. The other pub was the Horse & Groom. I went to Lower Wortley Infants then primary school before grammar school. After a career in HM Customs ended up in Hawaii USA. Price per person: £10–20

Awesome place for a beer nice friendly landlord willing to chat pool TV and good section of drinks at a good price. Only bar in Leeds to have a locked in retirement price for regulars
