Had the opportunity to visit The Willow Room as a guest of HKCC membership. The Peking duck was absolutely amazing, and divided into 3 dishes. The other 2 were soup and a fried rice. We also enjoyed the Oyster in Claypot - like wow, the flavors of the caramelization of the oyster and inchly cut green onions were spectacular. We also had their green beans with ground or cut pork, that was classic (a little oily if you don't mind, great with rice). We also ended our evening with the almond desert with egg white, and you can customize the level of sweetness you want ahead of time. Making it zero sugar was a great way to keep the keto diet or high protein low carb diet going. Dietary restrictions: Great if you're on keto! One of if not the best Chinese restaurant you can find from Hong Kong private members’ clubs. Willow Room consistently offers sky-high quality food with impeccable services for over the two decades that I’ve been dining there. Their menu consists of dishes from different part of Chinese cuisine, such as Cantonese, Sichuan, and more. Plus they often freshen up their menu with limited seasonal items. Their well-known Peking Duck always has this incredibly crispy skin, while the meat is juicy and flavorful. Other outstanding staple dishes include Sichuan Stir-Fried Green Beans (干煸四季豆), Cantonese-Sweet and Sour Pork (咕噜肉), Hong Kong-Style Salt & Pepper Squid (椒鹽鮮魷) and more. My personal favorite is their Hong Kong-Style Fish Fragrant Eggplant (魚香茄子) as not many restaurant offers this nowadays and this dish got this incredible aroma and umami from all the amazing elements inside a sizzling hot claypot. For lunch, you can always count on them for refined dim sum; from Har Gow (蝦餃), BBQ pork buns (叉燒包), Shiu Mai (燒賣) to Spring Rolls (春捲), they are all delicately crafted with fresh ingredients. The only complaint I have is that the dim sum selections is limited as it is a small restaurant. Vegetarian options: Available. Parking: Free parking for club's members. Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator available. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Peking Duck Parking options: Paid parking garage
