My wife and I drove up from Harlingen to have dinner. Atmosphere was great and service was fine. However, this might not be the place for eating seafood. The food was deeply fried in old oil or probably cooked at too high of a temperature. The fish however was not cooked and was still cold and watery . The server did offer to substitute the fish with 2 shrimp that were very good and appreciated. The Soup and Salad was awesome. We are hoping that we just visited on a bad day. Have not tried the hamburgers as of yet.

Took our catch to windjammer for cooking, got them blackened n fried. Windjammer is very unassuming looking place, but that fish was some of the best I've ever had!
