Location was great for what we needed, which was easy walking access to Moda for a night. The hotel is in good shape and the beds were comfortable. The valet was very accommodating for our over height vehicle, and even left note for next day staff. Noise from Max train was noticeable, but didn’t keep us up all night. Service: 4

Great hotel for the money, service , check in and check out is smooth and simple, quick and convenient. 4 stars for the noise, due to trains going on the streets I guess walks and windows are not isolated enough to cancel noise. You can literally feel bed shake and noise while night. But overall recommend Service: 5

Our stay at Hotel Eastlund was great. The room was comfortable, and the location is excellent—very close to the Moda Center, making it easy to walk to events. Unfortunately, the rooftop restaurant, Metropolitan Tavern, was a major disappointment. While the views are nice, the service was extremely poor. My brother ordered sliders before the game, which took about 30 minutes to arrive, and when they finally did, it was only two very small sliders—hardly worth the wait. After the game, we returned for drinks and were abruptly cut off by our server for supposedly “pounding drinks too quickly,” even though we were calm, respectful, and not disruptive in any way. We were simply trying to have a couple of Modelos before last call at 10:45 p.m. The server’s attitude was unnecessarily confrontational, and the interaction felt unprofessional. When we raised the issue, the manager failed to address the situation or offer any resolution. Overall, I would not recommend the rooftop restaurant—especially if you’re just looking to enjoy a couple of drinks. Based on our experience, the service felt inconsistent and unwelcoming.
