We loved the rowdy atmosphere, much different than most places in Japan. Cozy and warm nostalgic place located in an underground train station. The food was fine, but bland. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Hidden gem that has many options for the family. My daughter loved the spaghetti bolognaise and the omurice was on point. Italian style decor with pub feel. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's a couple of minutes' walk from Nagano Railway Terminal. The Winds is an Italian-style izakaya bar with a good location, delicious food and reasonably priced drinks. It's a great place to stop for lunch, dinner and or for a quick drink before catching your train. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
