Planning your trip, pay attention to Mordecai Historic Park and remember to decide where to eat: this bar is right aside the mentioned place of interest. Delicious draft beer is a decent choice. Select between indoor and outdoor seating. The success of Wine Authorities Raleigh ~ Wine Shop wouldn't be possible without the friendly staff. Prompt service is something clients appreciate here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with democratic prices at this place. Come here for the quiet atmosphere. Google gives it 4.8 so you can choose this spot to have a good time here.

It was once a wonderful place. The outside is awful. It need repairs badly. But also with employees changes you don't get same service I love Railey. But he can only do so much.

Riley and Co are extremely knowledgeable about the stock. Don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation. The wine is serious bang for your buck. The wines on tap and in the enomatic machine are always excellent, and the "funkiness" of the store makes it a nice place to hang out in. The cheese selection is hand curated by Kristin and there are no misses in the case. There are also significant discounts for bulk buying. Great little store that actively competes with big distributors. Must see in the area for wine and beer lovers!

EDIT: I talked with a staff member and the issue was resolved. I really appreciate the follow up and dedication to community! They closed at 7 pm on a Saturday evening and the staff was very rude as our group had an open bottle that we were finishing. At 7 pm sharp, a staff member came out and asked if she could “bag our wine” for us. We asked for 5 minutes to finish and, in a very rude way, they said “we’re closed so I can give you 3.” They also proceeded to turn off the lights while multiple customers were still in store. I’m very disappointed as this was one of my favorite local spots but the service has made it hard to want to support this local business.
