When the food is good, it’s really good. When it’s bad, it’s terrible. Unfortunately, the quality seems to depend entirely on who’s working. Last night, my chicken was still close to raw. The person I assume was the cook—a short, bigger white guy—was also extremely unprofessional. A cashier asked for the name on my order, and I mentioned I had ordered all flats. Apparently that was enough to frustrate him. He immediately started slamming refrigerator doors, throwing things around the kitchen, and acting like preparing my order was an inconvenience. I understand he may have been in the middle of cleaning, but if the restaurant is still open, customers should come before cleanup. Cleaning can wait until closing. If you’re open, you should still be focused on preparing food for paying customers. About 35 minutes later, I finally received my order. The bag was covered in grease, my ranch was missing, my fries were cold, stale, and completely unseasoned, and the food was carelessly thrown into the bag. The biggest concern, however, was sanitation. I watched him handle raw chicken, continue cleaning around the fryer, and then immediately sauce my chicken and prepare my fries without washing his hands at any point. That is completely unacceptable and raises serious food safety concerns. On top of that, his personal hygiene appeared poor, and throughout the interaction he seemed noticeably disoriented and unfocused. I don’t know what the reason was, but it certainly did not inspire confidence in someone handling customers’ food. Sadly, this wasn’t an isolated experience. I’ve had more bad visits here than good ones, and this one was enough to convince me not to return. The cashiers were polite and respectful, but the person responsible for preparing the food was rude, careless, and ignored basic hygiene and food safety practices. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. Service: 1

I don't know why I bother getting food from here anymore. The wings were overcooked, the fries were undercooked and hardly any seasoning and they didn't put any of the ranches we paid for in the bag, nor did they include a side that we ordered of carrot sticks. I would say I was not expecting much, but have a little pride in what you're doing. The girl up front asks carryout or order in when I walked in the door in the most monotone voice possible. Do not order from here. Go to wing snob. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I had a very disappointing experience at the Edwardsville, Illinois Wingstop location on Saturday around 12:30 PM. The store was extremely understaffed, with only two employees working during a busy lunch hour. Customers were told it would take 20–30 minutes for orders. On top of that, the doors were kept closed due to the rush, leaving customers waiting outside without clear communication. I personally waited for about 20 minutes, and when I followed up on my order, I was told they were still waiting for chicken and that it would take an additional 7 minutes. This kind of delay and lack of preparation during peak hours is very frustrating. There was no proper communication, apology, or effort to manage the situation professionally. I understand staffing issues can happen, but customer service and planning should not be compromised. Overall, a very poor experience that could have been handled much better.
