Dining at its finest. Celebrated a milestone birthday here with the 7 course tasting menu which changes monthly. First served a refreshing Kombucha with a slice of jalapeno for a spicy flavor burst. Added an eighth course of Foie Gras to share. The wine pairing was spot on with each course. Last but not least was an extravagant dessert plate accompanied by a lit candle, sans singing waiters, per my request. Impeccable service with beautifully plated farm to table cuisine. What a wonderful place to celebrate. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

An Unforgettable Farm-to-Table Experience at Wink in Austin My husband Carlos and I had the absolute privilege of enjoying an outstanding meal at Wink Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality set the tone for a truly special evening. We were warmly welcomed by Ian, who helped guide us into what became a delicious culinary journey. Ian was exceptional—highly knowledgeable about every dish, professional, and genuinely attentive throughout the night. Ian offered thoughtful suggestions and paired each course with wines that perfectly complemented the flavors. Ian’s expertise and care elevated the entire experience. We started with the seared scallops, and they were nothing short of perfect. A beautiful golden sear on the outside gave way to a tender, flaky interior. They were accompanied by a savory hash brown that provided a delightful contrast, allowing the sweetness of the scallop to shine even more. A perfectly balanced chili oil added just the right touch of heat, while fresh greens brought brightness to the plate. The sauce was so good I used my bread to sop up every last drop! Next came the redfish, which impressed us with its crispy, well-seasoned skin that enhanced the fish without overpowering it. The flesh was beautifully flaky and moist—the perfect balance of texture and flavor that left us wanting more. The foie gras was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. The chef achieved an ideal sear on top, creating a crispy exterior while the inside melted in our mouths like butter. Pure decadence. The smoked hanger steak was another standout—salty and deeply smoky, with a crispy edge from the smoking process. It was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth, reminding us of the richness of a wagyu brisket. Cooked to perfection. We finished with a delightful dessert trio that offered a wonderful dance of flavors and textures, followed by a rich, creamy cappuccino crafted by Ian that provided the ideal, comforting close to the meal. Every dish stood out in its own way. Chase came out to greet us and we were happy to report everything was amazing. We can’t recommend Wink highly enough—whether you’re a local or visiting Austin, make a reservation and let yourself be taken on a delicious journey.
