We were the only customers during our visit. The lady boss took our order while her foreign worker handled all the cooking, so some waiting time for the food is to be expected. I ordered the Sambal Lo Shi Fun, but it lacked the “wok hei” aroma and was a little too oily for my taste. Compared to our previous visits, I felt that the food quality had dropped somewhat. However, my husband still missed their curry bao, which was the main reason we decided to return. I did enjoy their aloe vera drink, which was refreshing. There are quite a number of vegetarian restaurants around this area, so maintaining consistent food quality and standards is important to retain customers. Had lunch at Witch Kitchen Restaurant in Bercham and overall it was a decent experience. The mixed rice and curry mee hoon were enjoyable, with good flavors and satisfying portions, making them the highlights of the meal. That said, the pricing felt slightly higher than what was displayed, which was a bit disappointing and something the restaurant could be clearer about. Additionally, the lady at the front desk was quite talkative and repeatedly promoted her homemade biscuits during our meal. While she may have meant well, it did feel a little disruptive to the lunch experience. Overall, the food quality was good, but clearer pricing and a more relaxed dining atmosphere would make the experience more pleasant.
