I got food poisoning from here. Terrible experience. Won't be going again. I've been on the toilet the last 4 days. Blood in my stool and vomiting. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

1 Star – Terrifying Experience at Sushi Hunter Visited Sushi Hunter with my mother and 18-month-old son and had an unbelievably awful experience. The Asian female staff with blonde hair was eating at the counter, ignored me repeatedly, then glared at me aggressively. When I raised this issue to another older staff member, I was told I “can’t give feedback.” Moments later, the blonde staff member screamed at me, used profanity, and insulted my appearance in front of my elderly mother. She even frightened my baby to the point he started crying. Absolutely unacceptable, unprofessional, and unsafe. I will never return, and I strongly advise others—especially families—to avoid this place. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am the owner of the restaurant, and I have investigated this matter. First of all, I believe the customer was right, and I would like to sincerely apologize. The employee involved was a very young 17-year-old new staff member who was still in her probation period. It is disappointing that there were so many issues with her service, so we have decided to terminate her employment. Our sushi restaurant has been able to operate here for many years thanks to the support of every customer. We will continue to improve the training of new employees to provide a better experience for all our customers.
