I was really hoping for a great meal given the prices, but sadly this place was a huge letdown. Paid 8 dollars for a single chicken strip. The meals were seriously lacking in flavor — everything tasted bland, like it was prepared without any real seasoning or effort. For the amount they charge, you’d expect a much better experience. If you’re looking for something that’s actually worth your money, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. This place sucks!! Meal type: Dinner Food: 1

I walked into Wolfer's Diner for the first time this year. There were about 4 tables of people and 4 tables that needed clearing. I sat down in a booth waiting for my friend to show up. The waitress was nice and immediately came over and offered something to drink and menus. All fine up to this point (except for the dirty tables there were not ready for the lunch crowd to begin). I ordered the chicken strips and my friend the grilled cheese sandwich. I had to ask for a dipping sauce. The strips were dry and the Texas toast was about 1% browned and dry. So was her grilled cheese sandwich. The waitress never showed up to offer more beverages, nor clear the accumulating plates left on our table. She never asked if we wanted anything else after the meal, just dropped off the receipt for payment. Since I normally tip 20% for good service, this service was awful. The food was barely passable. Now the reason I even suggested going to this restaurant was because Wolfer's did a great job with the food at the catered event at the Bullhook Community Center Grand Opening. The food that was catered by Wolfers was delicious and I heard lots of raves as having been there myself to concur with the popular opinion. I would give their catering a 5 star and their sit down restaurant a one star.
