After enjoying Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve, go to this cafe which is not far away. Order nicely cooked smoked salmon, salads and sandwiches at Wolsen Caffe when you happen to be near it. Delicious wine gets positive reviews. As a lot of guests say, coffee is really great.
This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. You will definitely like the homey atmosphere. The Facebook users gave a 4.1 star rating for this spot, so it may totally satisfy your needs in terms of food and service.

Wolsen Caffe, located on the Drive in Wilton Manors is a pretty welcomed addition to what is primarily bars and hair shops. The inside is super cute and feels like something you'd see in NYC or Miami with it's sort of loungish vibe that features bookshelves with books you can take down and read as well as board games to play, but I think overall it kind of misses the boat because it's trying to be too many things. Honestly, I initially thought this place was a coffee shop, based off of some social media postings, which I was excited about. I went one late afternoon and was surprised to see a bunch of two seater tables. Oh, so it's like a cafe, cafe like a European thing, ok cool. So I decided to try it out anyway. The waiter was lovely. I ordered an iced tea and I believe the hungry bird (It's the chicken breast with avocado sandwich). The sandwich comes with a small salad. The food was really tasty. A tad pricey for $12 and either there are no refills or the service wasn't particularly great because I never got or was asked if I wanted a refill. In the back there is a couch and loveseat/chair as well as a table for you to hang out if you wanted, but really it feels like a restaurant. It's not a place I'd want to bring my laptop to or sit and read a book at and it's definitely not a place to play a board game, unless those are decorations which makes things really more confusing to me. While the food was good, I still feel like I'd like it more if it was less food and more coffeeshop. I think it would be a nice little date spot, but not a place I'd come if I was trying to chill for a few hours.
