I like the place. But they are always sooooo slow. Its a shame they never are able to fulfill the orders on time and staff are filled with kids only that are not mature enough to work on orders professionally. Its not their fault but I see this issue consistently that orders are either delayed or they dont have the food. Improvement needed ASAP. Meal type: Brunch

Prefacing this; I am the type of person that never really bothers reviewing things as seen my this being my only review. I simply just don't want anyone wasting their money on this place, when there are better places literally right across the street if you want Italian, Chinese, or something from the deli. This place is actually terrible. Got two orders just because I had a coupon for 50% off. Ordered sesame chicken which was definitely not sesame chicken. The sauce tasted like it was pure soy sauce and I had to choke it down just to eat it since I spent the money on it. It just tasted of pure salt to the point where I almost gagged multiple times. The other order I had was Chicken Parm with and order of Penne alla vodka. The chicken parm had no flavor whatsoever other than the taste of the tomato sauce which just tasted like watery tomato and had no seasonings. It looked like it was pre-frozen and microwaved which I'm 99% sure it was(so they're most likely serving $21+ TV Dinners), and the penne alla vodka was literally the worst penne I've ever eaten. You get half the portion size for the same price you would at an actual pizzeria, it had barely any taste which they seemed to try to cover up by making the vodka sauce spicy. I have had vodka sauce with some red pepper flakes in it for a little bit of kick, but the level of spice in the vodka sauce almost made me sick because it once again felt like it was amped up to try and mask that the meal was most likely pre-frozen and just reheated(Once again a $13-$15 order at half the size and weight you would get at a local pizzeria which actually tastes good.) Don't be fooled by the fancy names attached to the Wonder chain, I'm convinced half(if not more) of their meals are glorified TV dinners and none of the food is worth the price they're charging(just trying to maximize profit at the detriment of any quality product.) The most wonder-worthy aspect of Wonder is their business model. Do you absolutely hate the ambiance of fancy restaurants, and also hate the convenience of eating at your own home, and hate eating with proper table settings and silverware? Do you love to eat off take-away bowls and packaging, but not in the comfort of your own home? Do you love the ambiance of fast food takeout places - the formica tables, the stiff chairs, the factory lighting? Then Wonder is the perfect choice for you! For what it's worth - the food is decent, though fresh from the restaurant is naturally more flavorful. I guess their main objective is that you can combine food from multiple places - like tacos with onion rings. If that's what you like - mix and match without sticking to one cuisine for one meal, a very food court like approach to dining - then you'll love Wonder. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, Kundan. We're disappointed to hear that the atmosphere in our Plainview location really didn't hit the mark for you, but we're glad you enjoyed the meal! One of our goals is to provide a convenient assortment of options for our customers to mix-and-match, so we're glad the variety reflected that. We hope we have the opportunity to serve you again soon!
