We had enjoyed our last dining experience and were looking forward to a nice meal with our friends. However, we were sadly disappointed this time. The atmosphere and setting was very nice but the food, not so much. The lack of any breads or salad to accompany our meals was surprising. The amount of the entrees was very minimal to say the least especially for the price. In addition, all of our entrees arrived at the table barely warm. The rice was dry and asparagus was not very fresh. It seemed like an afterthought. We didn't have an opportunity to tell our waitress about our disappointment until the end of our meal which was not very enjoyable. Even our fish was cold. Our waitress offered dessert after we complained so we ordered 2 expecting that it would be compensation for our meal. No, everything was fully charged. We won't be going back. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: $30–40

Amazing food and staff. This is my favorite spot for food, conversation with staff, and atmosphere. Their cajun dry rub wings are huge!! Largest and meatiest of any restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

There are very few restaurants I call fantastic because I cook a lot and rarely feel satisfied when eating out. The Grove at Woodbound Inn changed that for me. It was the best meal I have had in years. Homemade pasta for my 3 meat Bolognesse. Perfect sauce . Elegant dining. A well kept secret!
