Food is excellent especially the 3 cooked chips. Also local artists display their work for sale. Staff very chatty and friendly. Good value. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Called for lunch whilst travelling on the South Tynedale Railway. Wow the Ham and Cheese toastie was delicious with side salad homemade slaw and tortilla chips. My partner had the Vegetable soup with a nice roll and real butter. He said it was delicious and I did have soup envy! All the cakes and scones looked gorgeous but we were too full. The staff were friendly and the service was great. Will definitely return if in the area.
