The food was out of this world, the wine pairing for the different plates were very well matched; the deserts were tasty.

I had the five course tasting menu. The food was delicious and the service was warm and friendly. I sat at the bar which was located next to the open kitchen. It was a fantastic experience to watch the chefs. The dishes had a variety of great flavor profiles combined seamlessly.

Reservations are a must! Fortunately, we got seated immediately when we walked in during lunch time without a reservation. Workshop Kitchen + Culture is quite popular for their 3 course lunch menu - it's a great value for $25/person. 1st Course: One has the option to pick between soup and salad. My husband picked the tabouleh salad and my selection was the soup. Both were very good 2nd Course: I chose the Salmon, which comes with a sauteed, delicious piece of salmon served on a bed of risotto, with asparagus on the side. My husband's choice was veal, served on some gnocchi. 3rd Course: The choices for that day were chocolate pot du creme and lemon cake. We picked the chocolate pot du creme - Heavy, rich and an absolute must for chocolate lovers. The restaurant ambiance is pretty cool, and I saw that it's popular among the office crowd, who stop by here for lunch. Highly recommend dining here when in Calgary.
