We recently celebrated a birthday at the World Service restaurant and the food and drinks were lovely. I had the watermelon starter and it was amazing! Packed with flavour and looked vibrant and beautiful too. All the dishes we had were cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I always love the little touches like the homemade bread with freshly whipped butter made with curry - I know, sounds weird but was very good. They also remembered it was my partner's birthday and even though he didn't order dessert they brought out a lovely decorated plate with a truffle with a candle, funny and thoughtful at the same time.
