Got the Nagahama Tonkotsu. I don’t have a photo of the before- but you can tell it was good by the after. Great broth, not too oily, full of flavor. The portion size is much bigger than other ramen spots in Portland who charge the same prices. Tons of noodles and 5-6 cuts of pork in a bowl. The most amazing ramen I’ve had in Portland! We got the #2 and the broth was insanely tasty, it had so much umami and flavor, the amount of pork was great and cooked/seared to perfection and the egg made it even more delicious. The thin noodles work so well with the dish too. The indoor dining area is super cute and cozy, as there are not a ton of tables, which is nice though. The staff is so nice and kind, we will definitely come back very soon!! Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was influenced to visit this restaurant by TravelPortland on TikTok. And yes, it lives up to the hype. The tonkatsu ramen is exceptionally flavorful and rich bold broth. The pork belly is seared to perfection. This place is good for a single person eating alone because they have a good amount of booth seating for singles. There are tables for groups too, but if you’re a single person who is nervous about eating out in your own, I would highly recommend Wu-Rons. The only real downside to this place is the parking situation. There are very few parking spots at the restaurant. There is free street parking somewhat nearby but definitely requires a walk.
