The spring roll has beansprouts with this particular slight unpleasant beansprout taste, maybe it's too raw and completely unprocessed. Also the prawn inside is raw too Salad is quite interesting, variety of veggies The ckn pho broth is strongly salty in a good way. Ckn is fine too, but not served with the veggies by the side in authentic Viet way. Moreover, the biggest problem is the noodles itself which is overly hard, it's undercooked(maybe on purpose) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 3

Just added to my must-visit restaurant list in Kyoto, which is a city always giving my partner and I fun and surprise when looking for delicious food from hidden-gem restaurant by talented chef, which is Xuan this time . From Xuan the vege they served are organic and grown from Kyoto which is so raw but tasty; chef is smart and talented enough to make the spring rolls not oily but crispy and bring out the best of every used components; fish and meat are fresh and juicy which made me wonder what are the secret elements added to sharped and stronger the taste of both making them such scrumptious. Don’t miss out the cocktail here as the composition is just well balanced as marvellous as the food they served. I was lucky enough able to taste both 「蓮茶」 and pudding afterwards which is uncommon offering in restaurants telling me the chef is a real guru with refined taste ‍ Salute!
