Finally we got to try thr much hyped Xanders in Islamabad. Luckily we got in on a Saturday morning without having to wait. I really liked their menu. Had loads of options and I would say fairly priced. The food quantities were great too. I liked my omelate and loved their butter croissant. We also tried their Babars Pasta and it was also nice. We were a party of 9 and almost everyone was satisfied with their order. My only issue was the service was a bit slow...whenever we would want to call a waiter it would take forever for someone to look our way. Drinks came a bit late and they swapped our coffee orders. I had ordered a latte but they served me cuppaccino. When I mentioned it to the server he didnt do anything about it. That was a little irritating but overall we enjoyed the meal. I have been over from the UK on a visit to Islamabad for a couple of weeks and am always keen to try a variety of restaurants and Xanders was recommended to me. I was highly impressed with the quality of food, which is simply outstanding flavour and quality. I particularly loved the mushroom steak but every dish and cocktail has been exceptional. Staff have been polite and efficient, creating a welcoming experience. The only thing I would say is getting a table sometimes involves a wait, which undermines that is popular for good reason! Xanders is easily one of the best spots in Islamabad for both casual dining and late-night hangouts. The restaurant has a very classy and modern interior with comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we entered, the staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and professional. The food quality was outstanding. We tried a variety of items including burgers, pasta, grilled chicken, and steaks, and everything was served fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. The steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, while the pasta had a rich creamy texture with generous portions. Their burgers were juicy and well-seasoned, and the fries were crispy and fresh. The drinks and desserts were equally impressive. Their mocktails were refreshing and balanced, and the dessert selection — especially the lava cake and cheesecake — was absolutely delicious. Every dish looked premium and tasted even better. Another thing worth appreciating is the cleanliness and overall ambiance. The environment is family-friendly, peaceful, and ideal for gatherings, meetings, or even solo visits. Service timing was excellent, and the staff made sure everything was up to the mark. Overall, Xanders offers a complete fine dining experience with excellent food, presentation, atmosphere, and service. Definitely a highly recommended place in Islamabad for anyone who enjoys quality meals and a great dining experience.
