Nice local pub. A bit of a strange way to enter as it feels a bit mismatched in the layout. You walk in to a random room, and then have to go through to the back to get to the bar! Lovely staff though!

Able to book last minute, the staff were so friendly&really made a lot of effort to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, (hot drinks,toast,cereal,fresh juice,pastry) & great portions all included!The room was clean&met our needs, the decor was very dated but it had a certain charm because of this.Very happy with our weekend away at Y Pengwern, thank you very much
